This parsha is one of the most interesting ones.
a)Did Abraham understood that the visitors were messengers from H'? it doesn't matter, what matter is his kindness, and the ability to invite strangers to his tent. We should imitate him !
b) The procedure of circumcision is a Torah bound Mitzvah, We should continue doing it and not hear those who say it is an antiquated custom.
c) The story of Abraham arguing with H'. It is not important that he argued butt hat he argued about finding the goodness in people. Even if only one !
Vayerah is the name of the parsha: I t can mean he appeared, or it can also mean to see: to see the goodness in this world, and enhance it like Abraham our forefather did. Reply

Rabbi,

I scored 10/10; without a review!!! But, question 10 was tricky!
Thank you for the quiz after reading a weekly lesson.

Peace,

9/10. The last question was a tricky one to me. I read the parshah in Portuguese, so I got confused about the timeline. Loved to put into practice what I learned!
Thanks! Reply

Rabbi,
Another excellent quiz.
I especially appreciate the Rashi discussion about serving meat and dairy in the same meal.
As would be expected, no Kosher rules were broken. Reply

Was it really a "need" of Avraham that Sarah become pregnant? Somehow this sounds as though it needs more discussion... Reply

in response to Jonah David:

I've noticed that you don't get the quiz option when using an iPad.
Rabbi, can you have someone try accessing it via an iPad?
It says click for the quiz, but the quiz doesn't show. Reply
